It’s A Hard Knock Life

With scalpel in hand, this young boy pries corn kernels to sell as pigeon feed to tourists. As the song from the musical “Annie” goes, It’s A Hard Knock Life for this boy…

Thank You

A small donation and a big smile materializes on the face of this sweet lady…

Say Cheese!

One of the reasons why I love visiting developing countries like Cambodia is that it reminds me of how fortunate I am. Admittedly, there are times when this notion gets lost in my everyday life of work and play. Humbled and blessed, my next few posts are reminders to me of this…

Jakarta Poverty

Jakarta has it’s pocket of poverty. In a recent trip to Indonesia, I found this boy sitting barefoot on top of a counter eating his supper. Very humbling.

Stand Under My Umbrella

Continuing with the cinematic theme, here is one from a wet day in Guilin China. These two girls look very happy to be dry!

Sunday At Stanley Park

I love spending Sunday’s in Stanley Park (also known as Stanley Market). It’s a far trek from the core of Hong Kong but it is a great way to get away from the bustling crowds of the city.

You are always sure to catch various sights, sounds, and activities!! (PS. As you can tell, I’m absolutely drawn by cinematic tones and colours at the moment):

Shopping. Mothers. Daughters. Doggies.

Parents. Babies. Boo-boos.

Sun. Shade. Refreshing gelato.

Dates. Couples. Wedding Photos.

Kids. Bubbles. Play.

Wine and Friends

Simple math. Wine + friends always equals a good time.
